BraveHeart to Present an Evening of Jazz
Linda Tate with the Bradley Williams Quintet will perform a jazz benefit concert on Saturday, November 8th at 7:30 p.m. at Prairie State College Auditorium, corner of Halsted and Vollmer Road in Chicago Heights, IL. The concert will benefit Brave Heart, a south suburban volunteer organization.
Southport Recording Artist and local Chicago native, Linda Tate has just released her third CD this fall, We Speak Duke, a tribute to Duke Ellington. The concert will be a collection of these as well as other favorites. Last fall Tate learned about the good work of BraveHeart and we’re excited to help in celebrating her new release. The band consists of Bradley Williams, Piano, Dan DeLorenzo, Bass, Ryan Bennett, Drums, Richie Fudoli, Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute and Art Davis, Trumpet.
Proceeds from this event will benefit BraveHeart, a not for profit independent, community based service organization, founded in 1979. BraveHeart provides individuals and families with the caring support they need to cope with aging, illness, disability, and death. All of BraveHeart’s services are free! Call (708) 922-1000 for information about services or the Jazz Concert.
Ticket prices are $25/$30 at the door and students with I.D. are $15.
Purchase Linda’s new CD, We Speak Duke at the event and $5 from the sale of each CD will be donated to BraveHeart.
